ANNUAL COMBINED ORGANISATIONS STAFF SUPPORT EXERCISE

Every year ACT CISM  hosts a table-top exercise and optional skills practice for those who provide support to workers involved in critical incidents.  The exercise scenario involves a disaster that will engage the participating agencies.  Please see the Annual Exercise page for more information.

CISM: CRISIS GROUP INTERVENTIONS

This course is hosted by ACT CISM.

Cost: $220 pp (ACT CISM members $110)
This two day course presents the core elements of a comprehensive, systematic and multi-component crisis intervention program.  This includes education, individual support, small group defusing and debriefings, and crisis management briefings.  The content includes incident assessment, how teams function in the workplace and the role of peer support.  This course prepares individuals to provide these interventions and to develop / maintain a CISM / Peer Support Team.  Manual, handouts, lunch and refreshments provided.

THE WORKPLACE 'WALK THE TALK" CHALLENGE!

"Walk the Talk" Corporate challenge.  Hosted by ACT CISM in support of the Heart Foundation ACT.  Thirty minute walk starts at the Acton Ferry Terminal.
