This is a basic level 7 hour course that will help you gain confidence in dealing with aggressive and potentially violent people. It will also assist if you decide to undertake more advanced training later on.

The Australian Institute of Criminology document Violence in the Workplace (1999) lists health as the industry worst affected by violence. This is followed by welfare and community services as the second most affected industries. Aggression and violence are an increasing problem in many workplaces.
