Following the Inaugural Australian emergency chaplains' Pastoral Care and Recovery Conference: The chaplaincy role in response to disasters and critical incidents (28-29 September 2004); ACT CISM offered to host this information and links page for Australian Emergency Chaplains.  Some Conference papers can be found here.

The chaplain role in response to disasters and critical incidents (traumatic events) is an important contributor in community and individual recovery.  Australian emergency chaplains work with Police, Emergency Services, community and other organisations.
